Hale‘iwa, Hawai‘i — May 13, 2017. Renowned Hawai‘i fine artist Leohone today unveiled the latest in her series of paintings depicting Hawaiians of the past and the future carrying forward the traditions of their ancestors. Kekahi Wa‘a Kaulua, “The Other Voyaging Canoe,” the 19th in the series, ‘Ike Ho‘omaopopo.
